Representation often commences at the Police Station continuing through to Magistrates' and Crown Courts and Court of Appeal where necessary. We are on call 24 hours a day via the Duty Solicitor Scheme which operates at Reigate and Crawley Police Stations and Customs at Gatwick, which often results in our representing in drug importation cases. We also travel to Police Stations further afield. The department is headed by Keith Goodhand and David Forsyth who are both experienced Police Station advisors and Court advocates. They are suported by a team of solicitors, trainee solicitors and advisors as well as an extremely experienced secretary. The whole department offers professional advice and assistance at all stages of proceedings and appreciate that being involved in any form of criminal proceedings is often very stressful.
