Nadine is a qualified Fellow of the Institute of Legal Executives with nearly 10 years experience in all aspects of residential and commercial conveyancing transactions. Nadine has been with the firm since November 2004 having previously worked in Brighton which involved extensive leasehold work. What would be your advice to anyone looking for a Conveyancer? It is helps to have a good relationship with your Conveyance and know that you can trust them to move your matter forward as swiftly and pain free as possible. Knowing you can speak to your Conveyancer and not just their secretary is vital to this. I feel that the most important part of conveyancing is keeping the Client up to date with their transaction and explaining everything in a clear jargon free way. What do you fine most enjoyable about working in the Conveyancing department? The most enjoyable part is telling the Client they have exchange and competed. It’s nice to know that you have been able to help them get the property they love. What’s the worst aspect of your job? When you are ready to exchange and there is a problem somewhere further up the chain which takes time to resolve it’s very frustrating for the Client and us. What has been your most surreal day as a Conveyancer? Receiving a bunch of flowers from a client on the anniversary of their completion as a further thank you. It was so lovely to be thought of that long after completion. If you weren’t working in Conveyancing what would you be doing? I would of liked to have been a book editor. I’m obviously a glutton for paperwork! Please click here to return to the Conveyancing Section. |
